La Iglesia Latina Crossroads

A new church plant is born! La Iglesia Latina Crossroads is taking its first steps towards reaching the 40 - 60 thousand Hispanics in the greater Columbia area.

Last night over some great Mexican food we discussed values, vision, fundraising, name, leadership team members, and much more. It makes you heart beat pick up the pace when you begin to understand and see what God is doing in the lives of his people.

Continue to pray as we begin some leadership development, and continue fundraising.

A second informational meeting has come and gone. Somewhere around 10 people have comitted to the church planting team. In our second meeting a couple of people actually asked to who they were supposed to write the checks to. (now that was a new one)

A potential leadership team is emerging and that is extremely exciting. Equally exciting is new potential opportunities that seem to be opening up as well.

An area of prayer is the fundraising for the ministry. Our first major mailout should hit the post office later next week. Opportunities seem to abound...please pray that we will have the recources to push ahead.
