Bumpy Road

This has definitly been a roller coaster week. Radius our home church has been searching for a building downtown Columbia (as mentioned before). This week has seen possibilities disappear, and a yes turn into a no. So...here we are back at square one, looking for direction.

Please pray for our leadership team as we navigate this transition...

Not So Weekly Update

radius: Our home church Radius has been searching for a new home downtown Columbia, SC. I've checked out so many buildings that I'm considering a career in commercial real estate.

Kristina My lovely wife has had some physical ailments over the past couple of weeks, and we would appreciate your prayers. That is part of the reason why they updates have not been posted.

Venezuela God has blessed us with a group of business owners who are researching ways that they can create business opportunities in Venezuela to fund the work there. Pray as we meet with them and seek God's guidance.

Youth Camp 3 weeks ago, Kristina and I served at a youth camp in Newport, TN. I led a seminar on missions and enjoyed challenging the youth to be creative and innovative in reaching their communities for Christ. Kristina had a chance to lead a young lady to Christ.

Support We have been blessed in recieving a few new supporters, but are still praying that God will provide the rest. Keep praying and we will keep pushing forward. Oh, our specific request is that we can get the fundraising portion of the adventure behind us by October, so we can concentrate on the mission. We've scheduled a gathering of young leaders in November (in Venezuela).

thanks for everything...especially your prayers

Weekly Update

Last night at one of our extension events I met a wonderful couple from Argentina. They just recently moved here from Miami, and are hoping to settle down. Please pray for more opportunities with the young family. We exchanged information and hope to connect again soon.

Last week Radius, our home church has (almost 100%) decided to move downtown Columbia. This will be a perfect location for another Latino congregation. The even more exciting part is that David and Gabriella live downtown. Please pray as we seek and equip key leaders for this project.

Wednesday night I will be meeting with an entrepreneur about establishing businesses in order to fund missions and church planting. I believe that one of the areas that we have missed opportunities in is the business world. We have been diligent at seeking charitable giving from the business world, but I believe that we can use some of the creative mind that God has given us to do more.

Creative Business is one of the tools we hope to use in Venezuela. Establishing businesses that can support local pastors and mission efforts. We want to establish self-supporting ministries that multiply, not ones that remain dependent for years to come.

Our Venezuelan trip is approaching soon; please pray that God will provide the resources for travel and resources for the various projects.
